Text Message Privacy Policy

Hill Resources is a provider of residential and day services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, based in Abilene, Texas. Drewsey is the internal staffing system Hill Resources uses to schedule and communicate with its own workforce.

This policy explains how Hill Resources collects, uses, protects and shares information in connection with the Drewsey staffing text message program and the drewsey.com website. It applies to Hill Resources employees who receive staffing text messages. It does not create any rights for, and does not describe information about, the individuals Hill Resources serves.

• Contact information you provide, including your name, work email address and the mobile telephone number you authorize us to text.
• Your consent record — the keyword text you sent, your confirmation reply, and the date and time of each.
• Employment and scheduling information already held by Hill Resources as your employer, such as your assigned location, position, shifts and certification renewal dates, used to determine which messages are relevant to you.
• Message records, including the content of messages sent to you, the date and time, the sending and receiving numbers, and delivery status returned by the carrier.

We do not collect your personal browsing history, location data, contacts, or any information from your device. We do not include any protected health information or any information about the individuals we serve in text messages.

We use it only to run the staffing program: to send shift reminders, to offer open shifts and overtime, to notify you of schedule changes, to remind you when a certification such as CPR, first aid or a driver's license is approaching expiration, to send scheduling messages from your manager, and to keep a record of your consent and our messages so that we can honor opt-out requests and meet carrier requirements.

We do not use your mobile number for marketing or advertising of any kind.

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers. We use Twilio Inc. to transmit text messages and a hosted cloud database provider to operate the Drewsey system. These providers process information only to deliver the service to us, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes. Your wireless carrier necessarily processes messages in order to deliver them.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Hill Resources, our employees or the public.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your mobile number, and we never obtain mobile numbers from purchased or third-party lists.

You will only receive messages if you opted in yourself, by texting the keyword SHIFTS to 325-230-0572 and replying Y to confirm. No one else can enroll your number. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of employment. Message frequency varies with your schedule and is typically fewer than ten messages per week. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one confirmation and then stop, and your opt-out is recorded in the system. Reply HELP for help, or contact your manager or the address below. You may also ask us at any time to remove your mobile number entirely.

We keep your consent record and message logs for as long as you are employed and for a reasonable period afterward, in order to demonstrate that messages were properly authorized and that opt-out requests were honored. Opt-out records are kept indefinitely so that a number that has opted out is not contacted again.

Access to Drewsey requires an individual account, and staffing information is restricted to the managers responsible for your location or program. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with a hosted provider that maintains industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a transmission or storage method is completely secure.

You may ask to see the contact information we hold for you, correct it, withdraw your consent to text messaging, or have your mobile number removed. Contact your manager or use the contact details below. Withdrawing consent stops text messages only; it does not affect your employment or any other communication from Hill Resources.

The Drewsey staffing text message program is intended for employees and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the current version at drewsey.com/privacy. Material changes affecting the text message program will be communicated to enrolled employees.
